With resolve that continues to harden

I promise to keep this Rose Garden

     Though my contacts with Vlad

     Make my enemies mad;

No problem, I’ll just beg my pardon!

Make Limericks Great Again!

After six months in office it’s time

To bring back critiques done in rhyme;

     We gave Trump a chance

     It seemed the right stance

But now it’s quite clear he’s still slime.

Our Prez tweets out morning and night

With little concern for what’s right.

     To get through these weeks

     And the crap that he speaks
